Training involves increasing intensity to push the skill outside the comfort zone to promote growth.

Intensity will result in exhaustion which is how we simulate the stress and anxiety that envelopes the first few seconds of an assault.

Partner work will involve a non-compliant partner presenting variations to test the robustness and resilience of the student.

Variation of experiences will build the skill into an adaptable tool that becomes instinctive or behavioural.
